Model and Talent Booker Wanted
We're seeking a seasoned professional Booker for W Talent NYC to join our team! As a booker, you should possess an unparalleled eye for talent and a deep understanding of the industry's nuances. With years of experience, Booker skillfully cultivates and manages a diverse roster of models, securing them lucrative campaigns and prestigious runway opportunities. His/hers strategic approach to client relations ensures that both models and brands achieve their objectives.
Beyond securing bookings, Booker provides invaluable mentorship and career guidance, fostering the growth and success of each model under his wing. He/ she are known for their sharp negotiation skills, dedication to their models well-being, and his/ hers unwavering commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Contact and negotiate with potential clients, including casting directors, photographers, and fashion designers, to secure jobs or gigs for the models and talent.
- Scheduling: Organize and manage the schedules and appointments for the models and talent, ensuring they are aware of their commitments and deadlines.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry professionals to facilitate future collaborations and opportunities.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms of employment and contracts between the agency, clients, and the models or talent to ensure favorable conditions for all parties involved.
- Promotion: Market the talents of the agency's models and talent to potential clients, exhibiting their skills and potential through portfolios, headshots, and other promotional materials.
- Talent Development: Provide guidance and advice to models and talent on how to enhance their skills, grow their careers, and maintain a favorable public image.
- Administrative Duties: Handle various administrative tasks such as billing, record-keeping, and ensuring updates to talent portfolios.
- Problem-Solving: Address any issues or concerns that may arise during bookings, such as schedule conflicts or client dissatisfaction, to ensure smooth operations.
Skills:
- Model and talent scouting experience
- Knowledge of the fashion and entertainment industries
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Ability to identify and recruit new talent
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
These roles demand strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills, along with a good understanding of the industry dynamics.
Hours:
- Full-time position (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm)
- Occasional evenings and weekends required for events and castings
